Seton Hall University’s School of Diplomacy and International Relations is the first, among APSIA schools, to be launched after the Cold War. Centrally located, 30 minutes via train from New York City and 2.5 hours from Washington DC, Seton Hall is the ideal place to study international affairs – offering various globally recognized graduate programs, which prepare our graduates to launch successful careers in public, private and non-profit sectors. Graduate candidates can truly customize their experience at the School by choosing from a menu of 13 functional and regional specializations. Through a growing network of more than 600 partner institutions in over 70 countries, MA candidates are able to complete at least one professional internship. In addition to classes taught on the main South Orange, NJ campus and online, graduate candidates take advantage of the Washington, D.C. semester-long program, New York City UN Summer Intensive Program and international seminars (e.g. African Union, China, Cuba, European Union, Italy, Kosovo, Spain). The School, a strategic partner of UNA-USA and an affiliate APSIA member, serves as a World Leaders Forum, which has welcomed various prominent speakers, including: Samantha Power, Susan Rice, Leymah Ghowee, Ban Ki-moon, Tony Blair, Mikhail Gorbachev, Shimon Peres, Mohammad Khatami, Gil Carlos Rodriguez Iglesias, Kofi Annan and more.
