Assistant Professor in National Security and Diplomacy
professor position in the broad area of National Security and Diplomacy. The Bush School of Government and Public Service has built an outstanding faculty who are looking to hire a collegial Assistant Professor. We are broadly open to a candidate’s regional/topical area of international affairs specialization. Bush School faculty exclusively teach master’s degree graduate students in international affairs in a standard 2-2 load. The successful candidate will be expected to teach at least one section of the required course in introductory-level empirical methods. We have a preference for candidates who would also be able to teach U.S. foreign policy.
Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Political Science, History, International Relations, Economics or a related discipline by September 2019. The individual selected will have demonstrated a strong
commitment to teaching and research in the context of a public policy graduate school environment. The start date for this position will be September 1, 2019.
