Full-time tenure-track Assistant Professorship (Ricercatore a Tempo Determinato RTD-B) in Economics
The School of International Studies (SIS) and the Department of Sociology and Social Research (DSRS) of the University of Trento jointly seek to appoint one tenure-track assistant professor in Economics.
Candidates should hold a PhD or an equivalent qualification, an excellent publication record, and evidence of high-quality teaching and mentoring.
The position is a full-time tenure-track Assistant Professorship (Ricercatore a Tempo Determinato RTD-B). This is a fixed term three-years contract that leads to Associate Professorship upon obtainment of the national scientific qualification (Abilitazione Scientifica Nazionale) and positive evaluation by the University. The University grants a start-up research fund of 12.000 euro.
The position carries a total teaching load of 90 hours per year (undertaken both in English and Italian) and target graduate and undergraduate students enrolled in courses offered by the School of International Studies (SIS) and the Department of Sociology and Social Research (DSRS). In addition, the post holder will collaborate in tasks connected with the management of teaching programs offered by the SIS and the DSRS and in other institutional activities.

While all fields of Economics will be considered, preference will be given to candidates specialised in development economics and political economy, with a strong empirical orientation and showing openness toward multidisciplinary research.
