The University of Georgia School of Public and International Affairs (SPIA) prepares undergraduate and graduate students for good citizenship and careers in public life and trains future generations of teachers and scholars in the fields of international affairs, political science, and public administration and policy.
SPIA offers five graduate degree programs. In the arena of international affairs, curricula and training cover the major challenges of our times, from climate change to human rights and terrorism to food insecurity. Graduates include ambassadors, public administrators, elected and appointed officials, policy analysts, and academicians who are training the next generation of public leaders.
