The Association of Professional Schools of International Affairs is excited to have the London School of Economics’ (LSE) School of Public Policy join its global network of foremost universities.

The LSE School of Public Policy brings a recognized tradition of rigorous analysis and a dedication to sustainably addressing global challenges. Their membership enriches the association’s ability to foster international cooperation by integrating diverse perspectives into ongoing training and research initiatives.

“We are delighted to be joining the APSIA network and look forward to collaborating with colleagues to achieve global impact through public policy education,” said Professor Andrés Velasco, Dean of LSE School of Public Policy.

For over 30 years, APSIA has served as the network for the world’s leading professional schools of international affairs. By bringing together top institutions, the association acts as a bridge between  world-class education practices and an inspiring global impact. APSIA empowers students, institutions, and partners to become transformative agents of positive change by advancing understanding, peace, and prosperity.  

“The London School of Economics is a world-class academic institution, with a global reputation for policy excellence,” said Michelle Reddy, Executive Director of APSIA. “Having LSE join APSIA as our first British member school, especially given the School of Public Policy’s focus on real-world policy problems, will further enhance existing discussions and initiatives at APSIA.”

Through the continued expansion of the association’s global community of graduate schools, it remains a primary resource for producing the expertise necessary to manage and shape international cooperation.
