Since its founding in 1919, the Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service (SFS) has devoted itself to educating the next generation of global leaders.  Students at SFS benefit not only from the advantages found at the seat of US government in Washington, DC, but also from the wide array of opportunities at various international organizations, embassies and consulates, trade and consulting groups and non-profit institutions in the area.  In addition, SFS students learn from a preeminent faculty of scholars and practitioners, who bring a rich mix of experience in policy, history, trade, culture and diplomacy into the SFS classroom.
