Assistant Teaching Professor of International Relations

The Undergraduate International Relations Program in the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University invites applications for an assistant teaching professor of international relations.

We are looking for broad expertise that aligns with the program’s concentrations in global governance, human rights, international development, global health and environment, and migration and human movement. Area focus is open.

Annual teaching load includes an introductory research methods class and a senior research and writing seminar. The individual will offer courses in their area of specialization for the International Relations Program. In addition, the individual is expected to teach the Maxwell School’s signature team-taught interdisciplinary courses as well as the Model United Nations courses and advise the student club.

Ph.D. in International Relations, Political Science, or a related field at time of hire.
