Megan Seiboldt
MA ’19
Latin American Studies
Prior to attending Johns Hopkins SAIS, Megan worked at JP Morgan in London for five years, originally in their Country Risk group, covering emerging markets in Europe, Middle East and Africa regions; and then their Sovereign Advisory group, working with sovereign and supranational clients globally.
Megan, who completed her undergraduate education at Johns Hopkins University, knew without doubt that Johns Hopkins SAIS was the excellent place for her to pursue a postgraduate degree in Latin American Studies. Her former colleagues, alumnae of the school, equally gave positive recommendations about the program.
Megan hopes to transition to a new field focusing on social impact investing after graduation. Equipped with her public finance background, newly acquired skillset and broader professional network, she aims to develop innovative public and private capital solutions to meet the world’s pressing social needs.
