Advocacy Project Fellowship
Each year, The Advocacy Project recruits graduate students to volunteer with our partner organizations. This is the only fellowship program that matches the passion and skills of graduates with the needs of community-based advocates.
Fellows provide technical support to their host organizations for periods of between 10 weeks and a year. The Advocacy Project trains Fellows to offer six core services which will help hosts to tell their story; develop innovative projects for social change; strengthen their organizations; and expand their international contacts. Each Fellow receives a stipend to cover some costs, with students' universities and Fellows expected to cover other expenses. In return, Fellows must develop a work plan and measure outputs carefully.
