Each fall, the APSA Diversity Fellowship Program (DFP) awards between 12 and 14 funded fellowships in the amount of $5,000 over two years to students applying to doctoral programs in political science. Each spring, the program offers fellowships to graduate students in the pre-dissertation stage of their doctoral program. The Spring DFP is a one time award of $2000, depending on funding availability.

The Bush Fellowship is a self-designed leadership program that gives individuals the flexibility they need to develop their own capacity to lead effectively. Up to 30 Bush Fellows are selected each year to receive up to $150,000 to support their self-designed leadership plan. Fellowships are for up to 2 years. Leaders from any sector are welcome, including business, nonprofit and government.

You are a resident of Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota or one of the 23 Native nations that share the same geography.
You have lived in the region for at least one continuous year before applying.
The Catherine Hinman Memorial Fellowship creates opportunities for US graduate students who would not otherwise have the financial means to spend a summer in DC to build technical skills and networks.
