Administrative Support Assistant 3 (Operations and Events Associate)

The School of International Affairs (SIA) is currently searching for an Operations and Events Associate to provide varying levels of support to all units within the School such as administration, admissions, career services, and academic and student affairs.

This position is responsible for planning events for the School, including but not limited to the following: new student orientation, open house for admitted students, admissions events, career services trips, graduation-related events, seminars, workshops, guest visits, and others. This position will be responsible for working with vendors, interacting with guests at the School, collecting and tracking data/RSVPs, scheduling space, and other logistics. The position also serves as the primary point of contact and first-line resource to all students and guests of the School. The role provides support to School operations including processing expense reports and reimbursements, providing faculty support, arranging travel, monitoring and tracking program applications, working in the customer relationship management (CRM) system, maintaining records and databases, preparing letters and mailings, maintaining calendars and appointments, scheduling, and other duties as assigned.
