Hillary Rodham Clinton Research Fellow
The Hillary Rodham Clinton Research Fellowship is a one-year program that provides unique opportunities to a recent PhD or master’s level graduate to conduct rigorous, policy-oriented research to address key knowledge gaps in the field of Women, Peace and Security (WPS). Fellows should have working knowledge of the WPS Agenda and related US and international policy frameworks.
The selected fellow will be based at the Georgetown Institute for Women, Peace and Security in Washington, D.C. The Fellow will support GIWPS’ conflict monitoring initiative, including the WPS Conflict Tracker, and undertake an agreed-upon research program producing policy-relevant research papers and policy briefs. Candidates must have a background or demonstrated interest in gender as it relates to International Affairs, particularly in conflict-affected and fragile settings.

Residency Fellowship at the Free Peoples of Russia House
The Free Peoples of Russia House (FPRH) invites applications for its Residency Fellowship, designed to support individuals researching political, economic, or social issues related to Russia and Eastern Europe. Preference will be given to projects focused on recent developments and current global trends.
The fellowship is open to individuals engaged in research and publication, with strong preference for upper-level undergraduates and master’s students in political science, international relations, journalism, media studies, or related fields. The program will be conducted in English; knowledge of Russian, Ukrainian, or Belarusian is a plus.
This is a live-in fellowship located three blocks from the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C. In lieu of a stipend, the selected fellow will receive free furnished housing and internet access. The fellow may pursue outside work or academic obligations while fulfilling their fellowship duties.
The fellow will develop a research paper on a topic selected by FPRH from among two submitted proposals, and participate in public events related to their research. The final paper will be presented publicly and published online.
One fellow will be selected.
Deadline: August 15, 2025.
