Position Summary Josef Korbel School of Global and Public Affairs at the University of Denver seeks to hire adjunct faculty from an applicant pool for the academic year of 2025/26. Adjunct faculty teach a variety of undergraduate and graduate courses. Instructors may be engaged to teach courses in the degrees of Global Economic Affairs, Global Environmental Sustainability, Human Rights, International Development, International Security, International Studies, and Public Policy. We may also be seeking instructors for our certificates in Global Environmental Change and Adaptation, Global Business and Corporate Social Responsibility, Homeland Security, Humanitarian Assistance, Religion and International Affairs, and Global Social Justice. Essential Functions Job requirements for undergraduate classes typically include teaching a 10-week course on campus in two sessions of 110 minutes each per week, holding weekly office hours (either on campus or virtually, via Zoom or Teams videoconferencing), assigning and evaluating papers and exams as appropriate, and being available to assist students with course requirements.
