Culinary tips for the holidays from Fletcher alumni

It may come as a surprise to our readers to learn that this blog firmly believe things don’t have to be ALL international affairs all the time. A lot of the time, sure, event MOST of the time. During the holiday season, though, what better way to mix it up than to highlight some of the culinary pursuits of our alumni community?

2020 grad Farah Momen – winner of the 2019 D-Prize and the Tufts 100K New Ventures Competition – shares her recipe for a vegetarian pumpkin curry in this recent TuftsNow article. Bravo TV fans might have caught Farah as a contestant on the first season of Top Chef Amateurs. Elsewhere in the same issue, 1999 alumna Tania Teschke, author of the cookbook The Bordeaux Kitchen, has a few wine recommendations based on her time living in Bordeaux for a few years.

While I’ll leave it to the experts to recommend ideal pairings, between Farah and Tania our readers are well on their way to a complete holiday meal!
