Originally from Bentonville, Arkansas, Mason Evers obtained his B.A. in National Security Studies in May 2019 from Westminster College in Fulton, Missouri. Over the course of his young career, Mason has interned with the U.S. Department of State – first at the U.S. Consulate General in Belfast, Northern Ireland and later in the Bureau of Conflict and Stabilization Operations in Washington – and the National Defense University. Currently, Mason is a Security Cooperation Policy Analyst in the Marine Corps’ International Affairs Branch. Mason’s academic interests include strategic deterrence, emerging threats, and the future of conflict. Mason is set to graduate from George Washington University with his M.A. in Security Policy Studies in May 2023....

Zachary Le Vene is a second-year master’s candidate in the International Affairs program at the Elliott School, concentrating in International Economic Affairs. Zachary graduated in 2020 from the University of St. Thomas – Minnesota with bachelor’s degrees in Economics and International Studies. His main interest is geostrategic competition through international trade with a focus on East Asia. Zachary currently works at the International Trade Administration as an International Trade Compliance Analyst conducting antidumping and countervailing duty investigations to ensure fair trading practices. He has previous work experience with the Petition Counseling Unit at the International Trade Administration and with Consular Affairs, Office of the Comptroller at the State Department. Timor Nawabi is a first-year Master’s candidate in the Security Policy Studies program at the Elliott School, concentrating in Cybersecurity. He received his bachelor’s degree in Architecture from Polytechnic University. He started working at a very young age and worked for more than a decade with international organizations, mainly NATO, in different strategic capacities. He has spent over five years working as a Business Systems Analyst for various companies in the DMV area. He is currently working as a Business Systems Analyst III for the NFCU HQ in Virginia. Before shifting his career towards business analysis, Timor worked as a Senior Media Analyst and Public Diplomacy Adviser for the Public Diplomacy Division of NATO HQ in Brussels.
