Today we turn to something of an eat-your-vegetables topic. The thrill of a favorable admissions decision is, for most candidates, accompanied by the realization that it's time to get serious about making a financial plan. It's understandable if the prospect makes you want to curl up into a ball and take a nap, hoping things will sort themselves out, but I assure you that the earlier you get cracking on financial planning the easier your path will be, and the more options you're likely to have available to you....

An update from the Admissions Committee
Around this time of year I like to update readers on our work in the Admissions Committee. Almarie’s spring semester update
I didn’t expect to almost cry when I walked in the Hall of Flags during our first week of classes this semester. I have a lot of mixed emotions knowing this is my last semester at Fletcher. I do feel happy to know I will join the Fletcher network and I will have the privilege of working in the international field. Even though this is one of my last blogs, these next three more months will be one for the books....

Christine’s fall semester wrap-up
Hello all! It is hard for me to wrap my head around the fact that I am already a fourth of the way through graduate school. My first semester at Fletcher was full of long nights studying, exploring a new city, making incredible friends and asking myself the dreaded “what am I going to do after graduation?” question. After one semester I can say that the fuzzy picture of what I want to do is getting clearer, but isn’t in full focus yet. I am excited to see how another semester sharpens that picture for me. As I head into my second semester, I wanted to take a moment and share with you some of my favorite memories from last semester....
