Welcome New Affiliate: European University Institute
The Association of Professional Schools of International Affairs is pleased to announce that the European University Institute (EUI) has joined APSIA as a new affiliate.
Founded in 1989, APSIA is a global community of top graduate schools dedicated to improving professional education in international affairs. With a network of 70 member and affiliate schools across 17 countries, APSIA connects students, employers, and academic institutions to promote understanding, peace, and prosperity. The association facilitates collaboration among its members through annual meetings, joint programming, and shared resources—fostering innovation to address common global challenges.
The EUI’s Florence School of Transnational Governance (STG) applied for affiliate membership on the basis of its Master in Transnational Governance (MTnG), a two-year interdisciplinary programme that prepares students to tackle today’s most pressing transnational policy challenges.
Through this new affiliation, the EUI strengthens its global visibility and network in the field of international affairs education. Membership provides opportunities for the Institute to collaborate with leading schools worldwide, connect its students to career opportunities in the public, private and nonprofit sectors, and participate in shaping the future of international policy training.
“APSIA membership is a great opportunity for STG to connect and learn with peer institutions throughout the world. Membership provides unique possibilities for our students, faculty and fellows to advance their research, learning and career prospects in international affairs.” said Diane Stone, Chair of Global Policy.
