Welcoming New Affiliate: American University in the Emirates
The Association of Professional Schools of International Affairs (APSIA) is pleased to welcome the American University in the Emirates (AUE) as an Affiliate Member of its global network of leading institutions.
Located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, AUE brings a valuable perspective to the APSIA community through its College of Security and Global Studies and its Master of Arts in Diplomacy program, established in 2009.
By combining academic theory with practical training in diplomacy, negotiation, and conflict resolution, AUE develops globally minded professionals while strengthening APSIA's presence in the Gulf region and expanding the association's reach across the Middle East.
“The American University in the Emirates joining APSIA reflects its commitment to academic excellence, global engagement, and collaboration within the international education community. Through this membership, AUE looks forward to engaging with a diverse network of institutions, exchanging knowledge and best practices, and creating opportunities that support academic development and student success,” said Professor Muthanna Abdul Razzaq, President of the American University in the Emirates.
For more than thirty years, APSIA has connected the world's leading schools of international affairs and public policy, fostering collaboration, innovation, and professional excellence. Through this network, APSIA supports institutions that prepare students to address the increasingly interconnected challenges facing communities, governments, and organizations worldwide.
"The American University in the Emirates demonstrates the growing global demand for rigorous, practice-oriented education in diplomacy and international affairs," said Michelle Reddy, Executive Director of APSIA. "We are delighted to welcome AUE to the APSIA community and look forward to the perspectives and partnerships this affiliation will bring."
AUE's affiliation further advances APSIA's mission to foster collaboration among leading graduate schools and to develop the next generation of leaders to address today's most pressing global challenges.
