South America Program Assistant (Third-Party Contractor)

Located in the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs Western Hemisphere Program Office, the Program Assistant (Third-Party Contracctor) will provide programmatic, contractual, logistical, monitoring and evaluation, and administrative support to the INL South America team. In particular, the Program Assistant will coordinate, prepare, assemble, and track INL program documentation for contracts, grants, cooperative agreements, inter-agency agreements, and agreements with international organizations. The Program Assistant will also help with documentation for Letters of Agreement and Diplomatic Notes to obligate funding. These documents serve as the backbone of implementation of over $500 million/year of foreign assistance programs in the Western Hemisphere. At the request of the Team Leader, the Program Assistant will manage assigned programmatic portfolios and will support monitoring and evaluation efforts to measure the impact of INL South America programs. The Program Assistant will also organize and attend meetings and provide other general administrative and programmatic support to assist the South America Team.
