Alwaleed Bin Talal Professor of Islam and Inter-civilizational Dialogue

The Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University invites applications for a Full/Associate Professor tenured position as Alwaleed Bin Talal Professor of Islam and Inter-civilizational Dialogue.

Qualifications

Research and teaching interests may include Islamic intellectual history, Islam and politics and international relations in the Middle East, South or Southeast Asia; Muslim-Christian Relations; Islamic political and social movements; Islam and gender, human rights and minority issues. The search committee welcomes applications from candidates at the full or associate professor rank. The successful candidate may teach at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

The successful candidate will be appointed to the School of Foreign Service, and be affiliated with The Alwaleed Center for Muslim-Christian Understanding (ACMCU). They will have the potential for appointment as Director of ACMCU.
