Facilitating Canada's Transition to a Low Carbon Economy
Fred Ninh is a Senior Analyst at Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada. In this role, he contributes to the development and implementation of policies to stimulate clean growth, create jobs, and drive innovation across all sectors, facilitating Canada's transition to a low-carbon economy. His work includes providing advice on federal investments in clean technology projects, as well as working across federal departments and agencies to coordinate our support for clean technology in Canada. He also supports Canada’s clean technology entrepreneurs and executives to help them invent the future, and drive the growth of their companies.
Formerly an Associate with the Business Council of Canada, he provided strategic advice and analysis on a wide range of domestic and international economic policy issues – working to make Canada a stronger country, and better place to live, work and invest. In 2017, Fred was elected Curator of the Global Shapers Community’s Ottawa Hub by his peers.
He earned a Master of Arts in International Affairs from the Carleton University Norman Paterson School of International Affairs and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Wilfrid Laurier University.
