Jentleson Receives Kruzel Award
Duke Sanford School of Public Policy Professor Bruce Jentleson will receive the 2018 Joseph J. Kruzel Memorial Award for Distinguished Public Service from the International Security Section of the America Political Science Association (APSA). Kruzel was killed in a vehicle accident outside Sarajevo while serving as a diplomat working on the Balkans peace talks that resulted in the Dayton Peace Agreement.
Past recipients include Harvard University Distinguished Service Professor Emeritus Joseph Nye, Jr and Syracuse University Professor James Steinberg, who was Deputy Secretary of State.
