In-Person Open House for Prospective Students: Master of Arts in International Migration and Refugees (MIMR)

The Master of Arts in International Migration and Refugees (MIMR) equips students with the knowledge and skills to tackle one of the most pressing challenges of our time. Blending rigorous academics with hands-on training, the program empowers students to understand and shape the future of migration and refugee policy. From political and economic forces to cultural and social dimensions, students gain a full perspective on how migration and displacement transform societies—and how they can make a meaningful impact.

MIMR is a graduate-level program in Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service, the oldest—and best—school of international affairs in the country! Foreign Policy has ranked its graduate programs as #1 in the country, and SFS’s academic rigor, alumni network, and opportunities for post-graduation employment are unparalleled.

Join Dr. Anna Maria Mayda, Director of MIMR and Dr. Amanda Pinheiro, Associate Director of MIMR, for an in-person open house on Georgetown University’s Hilltop Campus. They will be joined by other core faculty members and current students to share insight into the MIMR program, student experience, career outcomes, application requirements, and more.
