The Master of International Studies (MIS) at North Carolina State University is designed to address the growing complexities of the international system. The MIS is a professional degree program that prepares students for exciting careers in government service, international institutions, and non-governmental organizations.

Students in the program develop a broad-based knowledge and competency in the core sub-fields of international studies, as well as an in-depth understanding of an individualized specialization of interest to them.
