The University of Pittsburgh’s School of Public and International Affairs (SPIA) has been preparing students to make significant contributions to society in government, nonprofit organizations, or the private sector for more than 60 years. We offer four master’s degree programs with a curriculum that spans disciplines, combining rigorous scholarship with a deep commitment to real-world impact. As one of the few schools that combines strong programs in domestic and international policy under one roof, our programs give you the opportunity to study fields as diverse as policy analysis, urban planning, international security, human rights, and environmental policy as part of the same degree.
