Qualifications
Required Education:
Bachelor’s Degree

Master’s Degree
Required Experience:
5+ years of experience in public relations, marketing, communications, journalism, digital media, or equivalent combination. Must include experience in creating and managing content in digital space including website, blogs, social media, multimedia content, and other online platforms. Experience utilizing data to make decisions on marketing campaign placement, flighting, and optimization.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication, project planning, and editorial judgment. Ability to work collaboratively across organizational lines. Thorough knowledge of digital marketing and experience using multiple forms of new media and technologies. Knowledge of online marketing and recruitment process, including basic knowledge of HTML and web content management systems. Experience in measuring and monitoring digital marketing and how these analytics can be applied to marketing and recruitment strategies. Experience working with and managing external vendors as well as internal stakeholders. Familiarity with CRM systems to track marketing campaigns.
Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Experience working at or managing advertising agency partners. Experience managing staff and a marketing budget. Proficiency in video, audio, digital photograph processes, and editing software. Familiarity with iMovie and/or Final Cut Pro. Proficiency in or familiarity with Google Analytics, AdWords, and Tag Manager. Proficiency in Slate. Graphic design skills a plus. Familiarity with digital accessibility standards.
Additional Information
In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $80,000.00 to USD $100,000.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
