Program Coordinator, MIS and MAIR
Essential Functions
- External Outreach, Marketing, and Recruitment: Maintain consistent and effective communication to external populations regarding the MIS and MAIR Programs. The incumbent responds to inquiries from prospective students via phone, email, and in person. Arrange campus visits and connects prospective students with faculty, current students, alumni and other resources. Develop and manage a strategic communications calendar and coordinate outreach campaigns with the goal of creating a funnel of mid-career professionals and formalized arrangements for a continuous flow of students into the MIS Program.
- Retention, Student Experience, and Community-Building: Supports retention initiatives through customer service, communications, and community building operations of the MIS and MAIR Programs. Supports the student onboarding and alumni transition processes, develop new communication methods to reach target audiences, liaise between students, faculty, alumni, and advising offices, and foster spaces for community building both in person and online.
- Special Projects and Administrative Support: Provides administrative and logistical support to the Online Programs Office and the MIS Administrative Director. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to maintaining office operations (e.g. maintaining office hours, responding to email, answering phone calls); maintaining and updating Program and Partner materials (e.g.worksheets, handbooks); managing the Master of International Service Program’s budget; and maintaining a calendar of deadlines and events for the MIS Program Director.
- Program Assessment and Curriculum Development Support: In collaboration with the Program Director, is responsible for ongoing Program assessment and development. This includes but is not limited to developing, updating, and distributing Program assessment tools, conducting benchmarking activities, and visualizing and framing the data for periodic and annual Program reports.
Other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibility: This position may be responsible for the supervision of Federal Work Study students and/or graduate assistants assigned to the program.
